Pencil Artist of the Week: Sergej Bag

This week’s featured pencil artist is Sergej Bag, a german based graphite artist who creates highly detailed portraits as well as abstract pieces.

Sergej starts his pieces with a basic outline using soft graphite pencils. Once the outline is complete he turns his attention to the details, starting broad and narrowing in on the more difficult details as the piece comes along. This allows for small mistakes to be caught and corrected much more quickly and eliminates unnecessary back tracking. Be sure to check out his work below:
