Pencil Artist of the Week: Henrik Moses

Pencil artist Henrik Moses is a professional graphite artist based in the Netherlands. Besides portraits and commissions, he creates extraordinary surrealism scenes, including this one, titled “Prisoner of my own”.

This piece was well-liked by so many, actor Shia LeBeouf had it tattooed on his ribcage.

We especially love the composition, the use of light and shadow, and how the chain melds from a paper drawing to reality within the picture.
