Pencil Artist of the Week: Joeri Van Royen

This week’s featured pencil artist is Joeri Van Royen, a graphite artist from Belgium who creates lifelike portraits from live figures and pictures.

Joeri uses a wide variety of tools to make his visions a reality. They include Derwent graphite, Staedtler Mars Lumograph, Faber graphite aquarelle and Caran D’ache fixpencils.(Fun fact, this was the world’s first mechanical pencil) below are some samples of Joeri’s work:
