Pencil Artist of the Week: The Scarlet Fox

This week’s featured pencil artist is The-Scarlet-Fox, a pencil and Charcoal artist from the UK who creates charcoal drawings of famous faces and domestic pets.

Scarlet Fox utilizes sketching pencils, charcoal and a carbon pencil to bring these portraits to life. Charcoal is ideal for making many different lines very quickly. The use of a carbon pencil lends his portraits some fantastic shading and some really great blending. Check out some samples of his charcoal work below.
