New Palomino Graded Graphite Pencil Unboxing Video
Today, we’re excited to announce that Palomino’s newly redesigned graded graphite pencil is now available on Pencils.com. Here is an excerpt from Palomino’s official unveiling of the new design:
The Palomino graded graphite pencil is the pencil that inspired the revival of the Blackwing 602. Let that sink in for a moment.
Bloggers, artists and pencil enthusiasts compared the graphite found in our Palomino graded graphite pencil to the graphite found in the Eberhard Faber Blackwing 602 and asked us to bring back the Blackwing’s iconic ferrule and eraser design. We went one better and revived the Blackwing entirely (if you aren’t caught up on all of that, check out some Blackwing reviews here). Still, the Palomino graded graphite pencil has quite a bit to live up to, which is why we decided to give it a fresh new design for 2014.
Every Palomino graded graphite pencil now features a black end-dipped finish, and the lead grade printed in white on two sides of the hex barrel. The pencil’s new orange and black design takes cues from Palomino’s luxury notebooks, giving their entire collection of products a cohesive look.
