Pencil Artist of the Week: Christopher Padmore

This week’s featured pencil artist is Christopher Padmore, an artist who goes by the DeviantArt handle “Certified-Smooth.”

Christopher’s drawings depict subjects ranging from pop-culture icons, to scenes from summer blockbusters and AAA video game titles, and feature a saturated style that gives them an eerie, almost filtered look. Christopher works with digital tools as well as traditional tools like paper and pencil but, regardless of the artistic medium, his distinct style stays intact.

Christopher regularly posts his new drawings on his DeviantArt profile, where you can view a complete gallery of his work. I love DeviantArt because it allows you to track an artist’s evolution through their works, and Christopher’s evolution is readily apparent when viewing his online portfolio.
