“Over the past year or so I’ve been providing some technical advice and input to the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) producers of a new video based on Economist Leonard Read’s essay,  I, Pencil. I was in Washington D.C. a couple weeks back and met with them though unfortunately I missed their launch party for the video presentation.  I’ve written about that essay before here.

The CEI has put together a nice website ipencilmovie.org that includes the movie and a supporting curriculum and many other resource links. It’s a great new resource for teachers wishing to give their students a good introduction to some of the key economic concepts behind Read’s essay.”
