Pencils.com and the University of the Pacific Partner Up Once Again
Late last month, Pencils.com partnered with the University of the Pacific to launch the Los Tigres educational program. To date, the program has been an overwhelming success, reaching 10 different elementary schools and over 3000 students in its first month. You can read the press release in its entirety here, or visit Pencils.com/tigres for more information.

The Los Tigres program is just the latest chapter in the relationship between Pencils.com and the University of the Pacific. We share similar colors (orange and black all the way!), roughly 25% of our staff is comprised of Pacific alumni, and our parent company CalCedar helps support Pacific athletic programs. To top it all off, our President/CEO Charles Berolzheimer further strengthened our connection to Pacific when he was elected to the University’s Board of Regents earlier this year. You can read the election announcement on the Pacific website.

The Los Tigres program joins our growing list of philanthropic outreach programs targeted at supporting and bolstering education in Northern California and around the world. For a full breakdown of our philanthropic efforts, check out our Outreach page.
