Palomino Introduces the Blackwing 602 Chuck Jones Edition

Yesterday, Palomino announced their collaboration with the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity and unveiled the Blackwing 602 Chuck Jones Edition set. Today, we’re excited to announce that it is available online exclusively at Pencils.com, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity and their efforts to support and inspire excellence in art. The announcement coincides with the opening of the What’s Up Doc? The Animation Art of Chuck Jones Smithsonian traveling exhibit.

Here’s some info from yesterday’s announcement:

“This limited edition set includes 12 Blackwing pencils, a print of an original sketch by Chuck Jones (created with a Blackwing 602 pencil in the 1950s), and a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity.

The Blackwing 602 pencils included are the same Palomino Blackwing 602s you know and love, but they come stocked with a pink eraser, like the one Mr. Jones used throughout his award-winning career. They also come packaged in a commemorative box that gives some background on Chuck Jones and his history with Blackwing pencils.”
