Create Your Own Blackwing Font

At last week’s Blackwing Experience at the Art Directors Club in New York, guests were able to create their own hand drawn font using a Palomino Blackwing pencil. The station was a huge hit, with hundreds of guests creating their very own Blackwing fonts.

Even if you couldn’t make it out to the Big Apple for the Blackwing Experience, you can still create your own Blackwing font in a few simple steps:

2. Print out the font creation form

3. Fill out the font creation form using a Blackwing pencil

4. Scan the font creation form to your computer

5. Save the form as a .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .pdf, .tif, or .tiff file

6. Upload the template to yourfonts.com

7. Preview your font

8. Download your font

9. Install and use your font
